Questions about our self-service hotel, in the heart of downtown Floyd near The Blue Ridge Parkway
The Farmer's Supply Hardware store closed in 2020; the building is now home to The Farmer's Supply self-service hotel and two local businesses (Phoenix Hardwoods and Lichen and Knot). Our historic building still shows the original signage from the hardware and general store run by the Lawson family for nearly a century. The Farmer's Supply, now a five-unit self-service hotel in downtown Floyd, carried the name forward as a tribute to that history.
Where is the main entrance to The Farmer's Supply self-service hotel?
There is a side entrance to the building that is located on S. Locust St. that is the main entrance for The Farmer’s Supply. Please note Lichen or Knot shares the same side entrance.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check in is at 4pm. Check out is at 11am.
Is The Farmer's Supply pet-friendly?
Unit 101 is pet friendly. Please contact us directly with any questions about pets.

Where is the parking for The Farmer's Supply self-service hotel?
Free overnight parking is available behind the Floyd County Courthouse, located across the street from Farmer's Supply. More directions will be provided after booking.
Are there stairs?
While most of our units do not have stairs within the unit, it is important to note that there are stairs leading to the 200 level units. Theses stairs provide access to upper-level units. Please keep this in mind when considering your accommodation preference.
Is Wifi included?
Yes, each unit has wifi.
